In the list of movie producers, the top one is Dickhouse Productions of course with the old stars from the first Jackass film and MTV show.
You will even have a chance to listen to some short phrases of the guys at the final stage of their experiments, which are included in soundtrack with the names like
”My ass hurts so bad” by Dave England,
”I need a doctor” by Steve-O,
”Are you crying” by Johnny Knoxville and Bam Margera,
”I’m going to die and a confession
”I’m ashamed of myself” by Chris Pontius
The only one, which sounds more or less optimistic is the one by Johnny Knoxville, named
”I’m going to the moon” Anyway, the results are quite predictable.
Being a merry band of idiots with disgusting and sometimes cruel tricks, the guys seem to be positive about what they are up to as their ultimate goal is to make people laugh. And the music in the film serves absolutely the same purpose. From the very beginning you listen to
”The best of times” Jackass anthem, played by orchestra and composed by Jerry Herman – a serious music, serving Jackass purposes – and it is only the beginning.
Soundtrack is full of heavy metal styled songs like
”Fly” by Cakecutter,
”Urban Struggle” by The vandals,
”All my friends are dead” by Turbonegro with
”Spill the blood” by Slayer being the heaviest
Although, among heavy metal jungle you see old good things like
”A little less conversation” - original (non-mix) Elvis version or country song by Roger Alan Wade
”Sometimes I Don't Know If I'll Make It” or girlish rock-n-roll by Josie Cotton, named
”Johnny Are You Queer”. The last one is my favorite )
