Do not beleive those guys, who keep talking that Tarantino's new movies are getting worse, that his new releases are just a far cry from the golden age of Pulp Fiction)) That's not about Death Proof - a cool movie for girls (and exciting for boys as well) with aging, but fantastic Curt Russel. Car races, new faces ( actresses mainly) and stylish 70ies way of shooting a movie, but with the action taking place today! This original style is much more exciting than Hollywood "special effects action movies", which you cannot really tell one from another. This road trip action with two key stories is supported by music, songs, songs and songs... Tarantino is really famous for his unique way of picking up songs, i beleive that most of the unknown groups, artists and songs became fantastically popular after movie release. A Tarantino movies soundtracks CD is a must have thing for any driver, but Death Proof should be on a separate one - the spirit of racing, speed and road mixed with vintage tunes! And just look at the names and titles:Jack Nitzsche with Last Race,Pacific Gas & Electric, pay your special attention at the coolest song Chick Habit by The April March band, which is at the very end when the titles start sliding - have you ever heard of anything like that? The only honoured composer, who turned up in the sundtrack is Ennio Moriccone, but just look at the name of the song - Paranoya Prima. To sum up in one sentance. Movie - recommended, girls- will be excited and pleased, sondtrack- ANY DRIVER MUST HAVE.
